Abstract
140,790. Metallbank und Metallurgische Ges. Jan. 18, 1917, [Convention date]. Alloys.-A bearing-metal alloy consists of pure or soft lead with not more than about 5 per cent of barium. Small quantities of other metals such as calcium, sodium, magnesium, aluminium, copper, zinc, tin, bismuth, cadmium, mercury, and manganese may be added. The Specification refers also to an alloy containing 76 per cent of tin, 5 per cent of copper, 12 per cent of antimony and 7 per cent of lead, and also to other alloys of lead containing antimony or tin or both, with or without other metals.
