Abstract
207,826. Heddernheimer Kupferwerk und S³ddeutsche Kabelwerke Akt.- Ges. Dec. 1, 1922, [Convention date]. Alloys. - Brass alloys for the production of bearings by casting or pressing from brass alloys contain, in addition to copper, zinc, and lead, not less than 0.5 per cent of silicon, and also manganese or iron for the purpose of producing hard crystals within the mass of the alloy. Aluminium may also be added. An alloy consisting of 58 per cent of copper, 36-37 per cent of zinc, 0.6-1.5 per cent of silicon, 2-2.5 per cent of manganese, and 1.5-2 per cent of aluminium is referred to.
