Abstract
628,608. Door locks. OLLAGNON, P. Nov. 22, 1946, No. 34721. Convention date, Nov. 23, 1945. (Class 44] The casing for a door lock is formed in one piece and has sides a<SP>1</SP> a<SP>2</SP> flush with a projection slightly beyond the sides of the door. It is arranged to fit into a cut-out portion in the door where it is secured by screws screwed into the thickness of the door. The casing is formed with bushes a<SP>5</SP>, Fig. 7, providing bearing for a tube f carrying handles g at each end and a follower n inside the casing for actuating the bolt o. The lock may be locked from either side by means of a key k passing through a rotatable profile disc i closing the end of the tube f and engaging in a slot in the end of a rotatable cylinder l having a cam slot l<SP>1</SP> controlling two spring- loaded locking pins m. The pins have heads adapted when in the locked position, i.e. the innermost position, to engage notches p2 in a washer p secured to the casing and so to prevent rotation of the follower.
