[Class 140] [Also in Group XXXVI] A storage battery separator consists of a plane layer of glass fibres in combination with a corrugated layer of glass fibres. The fibres of each layer may be bonded together by a resinous or other material and the two layers may be secured together by adhesive. In a modification the corrugated layer is enclosed between two plane layers. Another arrangement comprises three plane layers enclosing two corrugated layers. Instead of glass fibres woven glass fabric may be used.
