644,380. Accumulators. LAT NIANUFACTURING CO., Ltd., and LATEULERE, G. V. May 13, 1947, No. 12855. [Class 53] The plates of an accumulator are separated from one another by sheets, strips or ribbons of woven glass fibre which are wrapped round the plates to embrace opposite sides. As shown in Fig. 2, the plates 2 may be wrapped in a continuous sheet 5 of the woven material which may pass over the side edges or over the top and bottom edges of the plates. The ends of the sheet may be secured by clips or stitching or by the friction of the accumulator case. When the sheet is wound to embrace the side edges of the plates an additional sheet may be wound to cover the top and bottom edges to prevent active material from falling from the plates.
