Abstract
621,239. Batteries. CHLORIDE ELECTRICAL STORAGE CO., Ltd., and GRAY, R. Feb. 10, 1947, No. 3814. [Class 53] Each plate of a storage battery is separated from an adjacent plate by a sheet of insulating material which is folded round the plate along one edge, the opposite edge of the plate being left uncovered, the sheets folded round the positive plates a being of glass felt and the sheets round the negative plates b being of ribbed microporous rubber or plastic material. The glass felt sheets may be held together by a soluble or insoluble binder, the fold c being reinforced by rubber latex or synthetic resin.
