[Also in Group XI] A portable battery lamp equipment for use with a life-saving jacket &c. comprises a lamp container provided with a button of'rubber or like material for fastening the container to the garment through a normally provided button hole, and battery comprising a wateractivated cell within a container formed with one or more apertures through which water can enter after removal of a tear-off strip or other readily detachable device which normally covers or seals the apertures. The lamp container may be secured to or mounted on the battery container. Both containers are preferably made of rubber or like mouldable material. Specifications 540,862 and 557,104, [Both in Group XI], are referred to.
