Class 87(1) A sound-absorbing tile comprises a bonded glass fibre body 11 to the exposed face 14 and edges of which a synthetic resin membrane 13 is secured in taut condition by adhesive 16 applied only to the edges 18. The body 11 is bevelled at 17 on its exposed face, and recessed at 20 and grooved at 19 on its rear face.
