Class 87(1) [Also in Group VIII] A sound absorbing tile consists of masses bonded together, each mass being made up of mineral wool fibres bonded together, the adhesive used for bonding the masses and the fibres in each mass being chlorinated starch, parallel, irregularly arranged fissures extending from one face into the body of the tile. The tile is provided with bevelled edges and with slots in the edges for suspension from inverted T members, and is painted.
