[Classes 108 (i) and 108 (ii)] The frame of a folding perambulator comprises a part A, forming the sides, back and base of the body, having pivoted to it a part B, forming the back of the seat, and a part C forming a footrest. When folded, the part A forms the base, one side and two ends, part B the remaining side, and part C the top of a rectangular case into which the wheels, handles and other parts of the perambulator may be fitted for carriage. The wheels F have stub axles f which fit into recesses e in each end of a transverse tube or bar E, and are retained in position by spring-pressed pins g at the ends of rods G which fit into peripheral recesses f<SP>1</SP> cut in the axles f. Closing of the part C against rods G releases the wheels for removal and stowage inside the case. A three-part handle L<SP>1</SP> is clamped to a transverse rod M, the lower end of the handle being forked to engage a transverse member N. Side plates b<SP>1</SP> pivoted to the seat back B, and to the sides a<SP>2</SP> by link b<SP>2</SP>, lie within the frame when folded. The seat K is a strip of canvas passing round two rods k<SP>1</SP> and k<SP>2</SP> and secured at the ends to springs k anchored to the sides a<SP>2</SP>. A removable castor wheel H is carried by a cross-bar or tube J<SP>1</SP>. An adaptation to a four-wheeled. perambulator is also described.
