Abstract

561,396. Foldable perambulators. LITTLE, L. E. Aug. 14, '1942, No. 11420. [Class 108 (i)] Rigid sides 1 are connected by foldable ends comprising panels 3, 4, 3, the centre panels 4 and seat part 5 sliding on a central longitudinal tube 6 and the side seat parts 7, 8 being folded up. The well-flooring plates with supporting parts 10 engaging tube 6 are also folded up to the sides 1. The hood folds about hinges 16 and the pivoted handle 14 collapses by one side entering the grip 15. The wheels 17 are mounted on stub axles 20 carried by brackets 21 on telescopic spring-carrying axle posts 22 with ball-and-socket connections to the sides 1 for enabling folding of the wheels on to the sides after release of spring-fastening pins 26 shown in Fig. 8.
