Abstract

613,661. Manure distributers. HART, SON, PEARD & CO., Ltd., JONES, P. E., and ROBERTS, R. W. June 25, 1946, No. 18940. [Class 6 (i)] Relates to a manure distributer having a moving conveyer operating over the floor of the machine to move the manure rear-wardly towards a rotating distributing device by way of rotating paddles or forks. According to the invention the paddles, &c., are provided with cutter blades which partially disintegrate the material before passing it to the distributer. The spider 16 having radial arms 17 is mounted on shaft 15. Section bars 20, parallel to shaft 15 are secured to the end of arms 17. The U-shaped cutting blades 21 have bases 22 bolted to bars 20, the cutting edges 25 being inclined to the radii of the shaft.
