876,753. Manure distributers. ERNY, W. Dec. 14, 1959, No. 42402/59. Class 6(1). A machine for scattering and mixing manure comprises a rotatable drum 1 for carrying the manure and rotatable knives 18a which project into the drum and remove and spread the manure. The drum is formed of parallel hoops 1c connected by bars 10 to bars 9 which connect end walls la. A portion is formed as a cover 11 for opening the drum. The drum 1 is provided with a gear rim 17 which is driven from a landwheel 6 which also drives the knife shaft 18 which is mounted on arms 19 which may be moved towards or away from the drum by means of a hand lever at the front of the machine. A handlever is also provided for actuating drum brakes 28.
