Abstract
611,718. Heating and cooling buildings. COUELLE, J. April 6, 1945, No. 8609. Convention date, Nov. 27, 1941. Addition to 602,595 [Group X]. [Class 64(ii)] [Also in Groups X and XXVIII] Buildings are heated and cooled by radiation from fluid circulating pipes which form part of the structure of the building (see Group X) and comprise a number of tubes 1 fitting one into the other and cemented together (see Group XXVIII). The hot or cold fluids may escape to the atmosphere through openings 9 in roof ridge elements 8, Fig. 3, which openings may be closed if desired. The lowest tube may be connected by a conduit with a source of heat, e.g. a stove, or of cold, e.g. a pit.
