Radiators.-In the " panel " system of heat. ing and cooling buildings, the pipes are enclosed, after erection, with a heat-conducting cover, con. tact being made by a small quantity of plastic material between the pipe and cover. The pipes B are secured by straps b<1> to the structure A, and then enclosed in a cover D previously formed of plastic or other material. Plastic material d<2> ensures the transmission of heat from the pipes to the cover. In an alternative form, the cover may be of metal, without grooves or channels, but including a small quantity of plastic material between each pipe and the cover.
