[Class 39(iii)] A heating unit e.g. for a window ventilator screen, comprises a sheet of tempered glass B having a conducting grid C of aluminium deposited thereon and held in contact with a second longer and wider sheet A by means of a metallic frame D. This frame has channelled top and bottom members d, and side members d\ each of the members having a shoulder and a web projecting inwardly therefrom, to position the smaller sheet in relation to the other. The surface of the larger sheet may be fluted, Fig. 3 (not shown), to provide channels for the circulation of air.
