Abstract

418,114. Electric hot-plates. BRITISH THOMSON - HOUSTON CO., Ltd., Crown House, Aldwych, London. April 18, 1934, No. 11694. Convention date, April 18, 1933. [Class 39 (iii).] The heating elements 1 are so supported above the pan 4 of a hot-plate that they may be readily moved vertically and turned aside for cleaning and repair purposes. The elements are mounted in a plug 5 engaging freely in a socket in the bottom of the pan near its edge. The vertical movements of the plug are limited by a removable plate 9 at the top and a flange 8 at the bottom. The flexible leads 6 are held in a block 11 secured to the bottom of the pan.
