[Class 39 (iii).] The top plate a of the stove is provided with a depression b in which the hot plate c is located and which is of such dimensions that the bottom is accessible for cleaning. A removable cover plate f surrounds the hot plate and its outer edge rests on the top plate. Separate depressions and cover plates may be provided for each hot plate or a single depression and cover plate common to all the hot plates may be used. The hot plates may be fixtures or may be of the plug-in variety. The outer rim of a cover plate may engage a bead k on the top plate.
