[Class 34(ii)] In laundry drying machines of the type comprising a perforated drum 4 rotatable within a housing 5 through which heated air is passed, the air inlet 8 is situated preferably at the top of the casing and the inlet duct 15 is arranged around the outside of the casing whereby heat is imparted the incoming air passing therethrough before reaching the main heater 14 and fan 7. An air filter or lint screen 16 may be provided.
