Abstract
610,210. Cloches. SHARP, W. R., and RYAN, H. W. April 1, 1946. No. 10044. [Class 20(i)] The glass 4 of a continuous cloche unit is mounted in a bifurcated frame with the free outer ends of the two arms 1 bent back on themselves at 6 and the inner end of the frame bent back on itself to form a transverse portion 3, the bends so formed being adapted to hold the glass between them. The inner end has eyes 5 at the bend by which it may be pivotally connected by another similar frame by a pin 9, which may form part of a handle 10 with a hook 11 in which the pin rests and which also_prevents axial movement. The glasses are held apart by a hook 8 on an arm of one frame which enters an eye 7 in an arm of the other. The arms 1 of each frame may be splayed apart so that they press against the bottom edge of the glass but are long enough to clear it when they are parallel.
