Abstract

486,176. Wall clamps, hooks, &c. PATERSON, D. H. Sept., 10, 1937, No. 24702. [Classes 89 (i) and 89 (ii)] A wall pin, hook, clamp, or the like comprises a screw-threaded stem 1 formed integrally at its front end with a hook or a peg 5, a pair of thin bars 6 pivoted at 5 out of their centre at or adjacent the rear end of the stem, a shoulder 7 between the bars and the stem, and a milled nut 4 screwed on to the stem to clamp it in position. The shoulder may be replaced by a washer, and the rear end of the stem may be reduced as at 8. The inner surface of the nut 4 may be flat or concave, and its outer surface convex or with a rounded-off periphery.
