Abstract

608,094. Automatic control systems for electricity supply. ALLMANNA SVENSKA ELEKTRISKA AKTIEBOLAGET. Feb. 15, 1946, No. 4764. Convention date, March 13, 1945. [Class 38 (iv)] Voltage; transformer arrangements.-To obtain a regulated A.C. voltage lying between two taps of a transformer winding 1, a reactor 2 having a D.C. saturating winding and an iron-cored reactor 3 which is highly saturated by load current are connected in series between the taps and the regulated voltage is taken from the interconnection point of the reactors. Fig. 1 shows a regulator 5, for example that of Specification 446,790, controlling the saturating winding 4 of a transductor having also a selfmagnetizing winding whereby constant voltage is maintained at the interconnection point.
