Abstract
.607,541. Light fittings. STOCKWELL. A., WALKER, SIR G. B. LOMAS, and LLOYD, J., (Representatives of STOCKWELL, W. B.). Feb. 7, 1946, No. 3923. [Class 75(ii)] In an electric lamp fitting the arm 6, Fig. 1, or 21, Fig. 3, carrying the light bulb 12 can be swung from a position in which the bulb lies horizontally within an opentopped bowl 11 to a position allowing easy removal of the bowl from its supporting bracket. In Fig. 1 the bracket 1 mounted on a wall plate 28 carries a cup 2 which receives a depending rim 26 on the bowl. The cup 2 is formed with lugs 4 on which the arm 6 is pivoted and with a bowl-retaining lug 27. The electric leads pass through the bracket 1 and arm 6. Alternatively the cup 2 may be mounted on a standard 13. In Fig. 3 the arm 21 is pivoted to a bracket 14 having arms 15 to support the bowl.
