Abstract

545,264. Electric lamp supports. EDISON SWAN ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., and COCKSEDGE, F. M. Dec. 19, 1940, No. 17863. [Class 75 (iii)] A trough-shaped reflector 2 having a tubular fluorescent lamp 1 arranged at its focus is mounted in a tubular frame 3 secured to a castiron base 4 allowing 'the lamp to be used in either a vertical or horizontal position. The base 4 may be fitted with supporting wheels 5, 7 and the frame 3 with an adjustable extension carrying one or more castors 6. The electric leads pass through the frame 3 which may be fitted with a lamp switch 9. Specification 253,366, '[Class 39 (iii)], is referred to.
