[Class 75 (iv)] [Also in Group XL] In an electric light fitting of the kind comprising a mercury discharge lamp 3, Fig. 5, mounted centrally above three or more gas-filled metal filament lamps 12, the mercury discharge lamp is screened by green or other coloured glass strips, 4. The strips 4 may be mounted in a frame 5 suspended from the upper ,part of the fitting by springs 6. Alternatively, the lamp 3 may be arranged horizontally and the frame 5 may be hinged to the fitting and secured in position by a clamping nut. In a further modification, a cylindrical coloured glass screen 9 is provided within the bulb of the lamp'3 as shown in Fig. 4. Specification 511,150 is referred to in the Provisional Specification.
