[Class 40 (iii)] [Also in Group XL (a)] A cathode-ray tube such as an iconoscope has a coating 3, opposite the screen 2, which is unconnected externally except through a condenser 18 to a source of constant potential. The coating charges up until it no longer collects electrons, the condenser preventing highfrequency fluctuations. The subject-matter is identical with that of Specification 551,014.
