Abstract
605,791. Builder motions for twisting machines. ARUNDEL. COULTHARD, & CO., Ltd., and PILKINGTON, F. Jan. 4,. 1946, No. 392. [Class 120(ii)] In a doubler twister machine wherein a ring rail is actuated through a bell crank lever from cam mechanism, the bell crank lever has arms adjustable for length in order to determine exactly the yarn tra- . verse. One arm is provided with a coarse adjustment, preferably a slot and bolt connection with an extension arm, and the other with a fine screw adjustment. The arm b of the bell .crank lever transmits motion to the ring rail through the adjustable slide or extension arm e and rod f. The arm a receives motion through a chain d pivoted to a collar r held on a sleeve n, having a head o, by a collar s. The sleeve n is threaded and may be moved along a threaded spindle m fixed to the arm a.
