[Class 51(i)] Removable baffle discs, of firebrick or like refractory material, are placed concentrically in the flue of a steam-generator furnace, each baffle comprising upper and lower sections d<1>, d<2> having a tongue and groove connection d<3*> along a horizontal middle portion and inclined side portions, the lower section d<2> being disposed in slots d<4> in a pair of support legs d<5>, the ends d<6> of which are curved to correspond with the curvature of the flue.
