218,602. Baker, H. April 6, 1923. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Annealing-boxes. -An annealing-pan comprises a base member a having a central flue c and a ring member b constituting the body of the pan, the parts a and b being detachably secured together. The member a is provided with vertical webs or flanges d which are deeper than the sides of the part b, the parts d<1> of the flanges d serving as lifts to elevate the bottom of a pan superimposed on another pan. The flues c allow circulation of heat through the centre of the pile of pans in the furnace. The pan comprising the parts a, b &c. may be cast in one piece.
