Arches.-In a steam generator furnace having the main part d of a suspended arch constructed according to Specification 215,438, the " ignition " and " coking " arches are formed of wedge-shaped blocks c, e supported in pairs from the webs a', f<1> of brackets a, f, by detachable hangers b. The latter are secured to the webs a<1>, f' by pins a<2>, retained in position by split pins, and are each formed of two L-shaped members the lower webs of which engage, as shown in Fig. 2, in oppositely disposed recesses in the two blocks forming a pair.
