603,178. Conduits ; junction-boxes ; binding- posts. PIERCE FOUNDATION, J. B. Sept. 5, 1945, No. 22855. Convention date, Nov. 25, 1944. [Classes 36 and 38 (i)] The feed unit for serially-connected wiring units carries binding-posts for coupling the conductors to the power leads. Each unit consists of base, casing and cover members 10, 11, 12 of moulded insulation, members 10, 11 having complemental grooves for the through conductors 13 and apertures 10d, 11d for the leads 20, which may enter the unit from the rear, as shown, or either side, or end of the unit. The unit members provide a male end 17 and female end 18 and the conductors 13 .have lugs 14 forming sockets for adjoining ends 13a. Each binding-post 15 is housed in a recess in member 10 and passes through member 11, being bifurcated and threaded to receive a screw 16 which engages the leads 20 and conductors 13.
