582,272. Two-part couplings. DORMAN & SMITH, Ltd., and LUND, J. Aug. 23, 1944, No. 16098. [Class 38 (i)] The rear face of the insulating front plate 4 of the socket member of a plug and socket connection for a flush or conduit box mounting has recesses 7 engaging with projections 8 on a detachable cylindrical skirt 9, thereby ensuring correct alignment of the two parts. The skirt, which has knock-out cable entries 12, is pressed against a wall and held in place by screws passing through the plate 4 into the wall. For flush mounting, the skirt 9 is not used.
