601,396. Sheet delivery apparatus. DAWSON, PAYNE, & ELLIOTT, Ltd., and COOPER, A. Aug. 22. 1945. No 21434 [Class 100(i)] In sheet delivery apparatus for printing machines, the sheets from the impression cylinder are taken on to a take-off cylinder from which they are passed by means of an intermediate take-up through a circular arc on to a continuously driven gripper or like delivery chain. Grippers 7 on the takeoff cylinder 2 take the sheets 6 from the impression cylinder 1 and pass them to grippers 8 or suction devices on a rotary or oscillating intermediate take-up 3, from which they are passed to grippers 9 or suction devices on a continuously driven delivery chain 4.
