Abstract

599,603. Coiling dough. JOB, E. Nov. 16, 1945, No. 30783. [Class 87 (ii)] The coiling device comprises an apron 7 pivoted at one end on an axle 9 and resting at the other end, by means of an arm 17, on a crossbar 20. The apron carries projections 22. Dough from hopper 1 passes between rollers 2, 3, 4 and between the apron and an endless travelling band 5. As the dough passes to the left it raises the arm 17 off the crossbar. By adjusting a screw 18 the height of the apron above the band may be varied. The axle 9 is carried in vertically-adjustable brackets 10. A verticallyadjustable scraper 23 engages the roller 3. The coiled dough is passed between side guides and a pressure plate as described in Specification 599,419.
