Abstract
226,126. Ringnalda, D. July 24, 1924. Rolling - machines ; coating apparatus. - Relates to machines for moulding cakes, scones, &c. of the type wherein dough is pressed by a roll 2 into moulds 4 in a cylinder 1, and consists in the provision of a knife 5 bearing against the roll 2 to strip the cakes 3 therefrom, together with means for retaining the cakes within the moulds until they reach the lowest part of the cylinder. As shown, the cakes are retained by a belt 7 passing around rollers 8, 9, 10 and bearing against the cylinder. The edges of the belt may be furnished with strips 16, Fig. 3, to prevent undue pressure by the belt upon the dough. A floursprinkling device 18 and adjusting means 12 are provided for the belt 7. The cakes &c. pass on to a belt 15 or into a receptacle.
