Abstract
599,548. Electromagnetic relays. MASCHINENFABRIK OERLIKON. Aug. 4, 1944, No. 14895. Convention date, Aug. 21, 1943. [Class 38(v)] [Also in Group XL] In an electromagnetic relay for use in a mercury arc rectifier excitation and ignition circuit, [see Group XL], the contacts 15 are operated by leakage flux from the choke coil 12 in the excitation circuit, which is wound on a core 11 with an airgap 13. The relay operates over a wide range of current, e.g. 1 to 6 amps.
