Abstract

597,356. Cycle-chain adjusters. RUNWELL CYCLE CO. (BIRMINGHAM); Ltd., and HEFFORD. C. H. Aug. 15, 1945, No. 20954. [Class 136 (iii)] A chain adjustor for cycles, motor-cycles and the like comprises a plate a having a hole a' adapted to fit on the wheel spindle and a plurality of serrations a<2>, a<3> on its periphery to engage with a stud b<1> on the cycle fork. The plate is oblong and the serrations a<2> along one edge are interspaced with respect to the serrations a<3> along the other edge to allow of fine adjustment by reversing the plate. For still finer adjustment two or more holes may be provided.
