Abstract

594,281. Refrigerator doors. HEAD, W. G., and FREETH, F. W. Nov. 5, 1945, No. 29279. [Class 29] [Also in Groups XI and XXV] Hinge lugs C, D, and E, F, are arranged two on each side of the frame of a stove or refrigerator door frame whereby the door B may be hung at the right or left side. The lugs are provided with a hinge pin hole, the door hinges G, H being correspondingly holed. A single hinge pin I or one for each lug, is, or are provided. The lugs may be in recesses in the door frame, and when the door is fitted with handles, levers or the like tc engage a catch on the door frame, one catch is provided on each side of the frame. The hinge pins may be secured in place by nuts housed in recesses in the undersides of the lugs. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 219,264 and 329,518, [both in Class 126].
