Hinges readily separable about hinge pin; pivots. - The doors 3 of furniture such as cabinets, wardrobes, and cupboards are detachably mounted on a pivot pin 8 spring-pressed at 7 into engagement with a lower socket member 1 screwed into the framework 4. The pin may be lifted from the socket 1 by means of an arm 5 fixed to or engaging the upper part of the pin, the arm projecting through a slot 6 formed in the door. The door carries an adjustable socket member 2 screwed into the under side of the door.
