Addition to 526,212, [Group XXXIX]. [Classes 83 (ii) and 83 (iv)] [Also in Group XXXIX] Stamping.-In a microphone comprising an electrode operated by a soundresponsive diaphragm and in contact with granules of conducting material, usually carbon, the electrode is constituted by a carbon coating on an electrode body made of nickel. The electrodes which, as shown, comprise a flat portion 1 and a domed portion 2 are punched and drawn from a sheet 10 of carbon-coated nickel, and in the use of a wide sheet, the electrode members of successive rows are preferably staggered.
