222,196. Bergmann, F. P. June 25, 1923. Diaphragms.-For a miniature telephone receiver the diaphragm o is clamped between two wire rings n which make practically only linear contact therewith. An armature p comprising a light iron plate having a boss is secured at the boss to the centre of the diaphragm by a minute rivet so that its contact with the diaphragm approximates to a point.
