Abstract
593,095. Refrigerating. AKTIEBOLAGET ELEKTROLUX. April 26, 1945, No. 10499. Convention date, May 9, 1944. [Class 29] Absorption systems.-In continuous cycle systems wherein refrigerant condensate is collected and vaporised in a vessel 14 for rectification of boiler vapours in a pipe 12, the vessel is heated asymmetrically along an extended vertical zone as by welding to the vapour pipe in order to produce a flow of condensate in the vessel. Condensate is supplied to the vessel from the condenser pipe 11 and vapours pass into the pipe 15. The vessel 14 comprises a pipe closed at its ends, and welded to the vapour pipe 12. In a modification a vertical partition extends through the vessel and has an aperture at the bottom.
