Abstract

Yellow, red, blue and black inks for use in a multicolour printing process (see Group XVI) are (1) solvent (boiling range 300-310 DEG C.) 17.5 parts, resin 17.5 parts, yellow pigment (equal parts of lemon yellow and phosphate yellow) 56 parts, alumina hydrate 4.0 parts and linseed oil 5 parts; (2) solvent (boiling range 280-290 DEG C.) 29 parts, dark Lithol red 37 parts, alumina hydrate 5 parts and resin 29 parts; (3) solvent (boiling range 260-270 DEG C.) 38 parts, resin 28 parts, peacock blue 35 parts and milori blue 4 parts; (4) solvent (boiling range 250-260 DEG C.) 40 parts, resin 34 parts, carbon black 17 parts and reflex blue paste 9 parts. In these examples, the solvents are petroleum fractions and the resin is a mixture of a rosin-modified phenol aldehyde resin and zinc resinate.
