Abstract

589,185. Water cycles. GAMES INDUSTRIES, Ltd., and RICHARDSON, A. March 16, 1945, No. 6711. [Class 136 (iii)] [Also in Group XXXIII] An amphibious device comprises a tubular frame structure having two main cross members 2 and 3, two floats 4 and 5, a main body portion 36 and a pedal driving mechanism and steering gear for land and water travel. The driving means comprises a pair of land wheels 23 and paddle blades 24 mounted on a common shaft 14 driven by chain and pedal mechanism, and a castor wheel 29, faired at 30 to form a rudder, controlled by steering wheel 37. The land wheels and castor wheel are spring-mounted on the members 2 and 3.
