Abstract

501,547. Amusement apparatus; toys. DAVIES, J. H. Sept. 2, 1937, No. 23983. [Classes 132 (i) and 132 (iii)] An amusement carriage or toy which rises and falls with every revolution of its main carrying wheels has two or more of'its carrying wheels circular or substantially circular and built with their hubs in an eccentric position, each wheel being built heavier on the longer portion separating the hub and the rim of the wheel in that one or more balance weights are attached to one or more of the wheels. At least one of the wheels on an axle is free to revolve thereon, and a skid or additional wheel (Fig. 9) may be fitted to prevent undue pitching of the carriage. Fig. 3 shows a wheel with a choice of hub positions. The guiding wheel in Fig. 9 may be fixed at suitable angles for travelling a desired circumference. The carriage may be driven by human or mechanical power.
