[Class 132 (iii)] A self-propelled wheeled toy is unbalanced about its driving wheels D so that the heavier end normally rests on the floor, a control string being attached to this end for steering the toy by lifting the heavier end. The embodiment shown in Fig. 2, has biased axles 20, 22, the wheels 24 of the rear axle normally resting on the ground, so that the toy steers to the left. When the string C is pulled, the toy tilts to lift the wheels 24 and rests on the wheels 26 to steer to the right. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 5, the toy dog rests on the driving wheels D and on a supporting wheel 60, the motor oscillating the paws 62 through a crank 64. A slight pull on the string C lifts the wheel 60 and swings the toy to left or right. The tail 72 may be flexible. In a modification, the wheel 60 is placed at the rear and the string C is attached to the tail, the rear now being the heavier end.
