128,839. Thorne, E. A. Nov. 29, 1918. Mechanical toys.-A toy representing a "tank" is propelled by a fly-wheel a, the axis of which rests on the edge of the driving wheels b. A steering wheel g is mounted on a swivelling frame f which carries a dummy gun h serving as a handle. Two steering wheels mounted on a pivoted axle may be used, and the axle may be connected to the driving axle by a crank and connecting-rod so that the toy travels in a sinuous path. The fly-wheel is turned by hand by a knob on the axis or otherwise. In a modification, a single driving-wheel is used and the fly-wheel is divided.
