586,531. Valve amplifying circuits. GUIDED RADIO CORPORATION. Aug. 11, 1944, No.-15332. Convention date, July 15, 1943. Drawings to Specification. [Class 40 (v)] In a zero bias Class B amplifier using two beam tetrodes in push-pull, the input is fed on to the unbiassed outer grids of the tetrodes, the inner grids being connected to the cathodes and earthed. The standing plate current is thereby much reduced and the input impedance of the valve much increased. The arrangement is stated to provide decreased grid dissipation, higher output and less distortion compared with a normal zero bias .Class 13 amplilier.
