Abstract
586,138. Valve amplifying circuits. MARCONI'S WIRELESS TELEGRAPH CO., Ltd. Jan. 13, 1944, No. 662. Convention date, Jan. 13, 1943. [Class 40 (v)] In an amplifying circuit employing a valve 1, with unbyepassed biassing resistor 8, feeding over transformer 7 a load 12, means are provided for feeding back in regenerative sense some or all of the voltage developed across the secondary winding to counteract the degeneration produced by the unbyepassed resistor. The resistor 8 may be connected in series with the secondary or shunt fed (Fig. 2, not shown). By earthing an intermediate point on the secondary (Fig. 3, not shown), the cathode resistor of the preceding valve may be connected to the other end of the secondary.
