719,876. Saw-tooth generating circuits. MARCONI'S WIRELESS TELEGRAPH CO., Ltd. Dec. 15, 1952 [April 16, 1952], No. 9581/52. Class 40 (6) In a booster-damper time-base circuit of the type in which the load 9 is energized from a portion of a transformer winding included in series with the anode circuit of a driver valve, a damper diode being connected in a shunt path across said portion and the condenser, the transformer has an additional winding 14 in the shunt path in series with the diode and on the anode side thereof. This permits the cathode of the diode to be connected to a point on the auto-transformer nearer to the H.T. line without changing the voltage acting in the diode circuit and thus the voltage between heater and cathode of the diode during flyback is reduced.
